Toledo Police Identify Second Suspect in Festival Mass Shooting

Police have identified a second suspect in connection with a mass shooting at Toledo’s Old West End Festival that left 12 people injured.

Investigators announced that 20-year-old Ka Nye Taylor is wanted on 11 counts of felonious assault and remains at large. Authorities describe Taylor as approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing around 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

The development comes after police arrested a second suspect, Eljay Crisp-Carr, who has been charged with 11 counts of felonious assault in relation to the shooting.

The violence erupted during the popular Old West End Festival over the weekend, sending crowds scrambling for safety and leaving a dozen people injured. Officials have not released detailed information about the victims’ conditions.

Detectives say the investigation remains active as they work to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and whether additional individuals were involved.

Police are urging anyone with information about Taylor’s whereabouts to come forward immediately and contact law enforcement. Members of the public are advised not to approach him and instead notify authorities if they spot him.

The mass shooting has raised concerns about public safety at large community events, with local officials pledging continued efforts to bring all those responsible to justice.
