Man Charged After Allegedly Exposing Himself to Teenagers at Perth Airport

A 34-year-old Noranda man has been charged after allegedly exposing himself to a teenage girl outside Perth Airport’s Terminal 4.

The Australian Federal Police (AFP) allege the incident occurred about 12pm on June 15, 2026, when the man was walking from Terminal 4 onto the airport forecourt.

Police claim the man lowered his tracksuit pants and exposed himself as two teenage girls walked past. One of the girls reported that the man looked directly at her while his trousers were lowered.

After the alleged incident, the man walked away while the teenager immediately sought assistance from an AFP officer and reported what had happened.

Officers located the man outside the terminal a short time later and arrested him.

The AFP subsequently charged the man with committing an indecent act in a public place, contrary to Section 203(1)(a) of the Criminal Code (WA). The offence carries a maximum penalty of two years’ imprisonment.

The accused was remanded in custody and was scheduled to appear before Perth Magistrates Court on June 16, 2026.

AFP Detective Acting Superintendent Peter Brindal said police would not tolerate behaviour that made members of the public feel unsafe.

“No one should be subjected to confronting or inappropriate conduct while simply going about their day,” Det a/Supt Brindal said.

“We commend the teenage girl for coming forward promptly and reporting the incident to police, which allowed AFP officers to respond quickly.

“Anyone who witnesses or experiences suspicious or inappropriate behaviour is urged to report it to police immediately.”

Investigations into the alleged incident are continuing.
