Three Arrested Following Major Drug Seizures in Adelaide

Three people have been arrested following a series of drug seizures across Adelaide and Port Adelaide as part of an ongoing police investigation into alleged drug trafficking.

Police were first called to a licensed premises in Port Adelaide just before 8.30pm on June 11 following reports of suspicious behaviour. Officers searched a man and allegedly located methamphetamine, heroin and other items associated with drug dealing.

A subsequent search of the man’s Ferryden Park home uncovered further evidence of drug trafficking.

A 45-year-old Ferryden Park man was charged with four counts of trafficking a controlled drug. He was granted bail and is due to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on July 10.

Further investigations led police to an Adelaide apartment on June 13, where officers allegedly seized quantities of methamphetamine, cocaine and MDMA, along with a large amount of cash.

A 46-year-old Adelaide man and a 33-year-old Lockleys woman were arrested at the property.

Police later searched storage units in Adelaide’s CBD, where they allegedly found GHB (1,4-Butanediol) and cannabis.

The Adelaide man was charged with multiple drug trafficking offences, including two counts of trafficking a large commercial quantity of drugs, as well as money laundering and hindering police.

The Lockleys woman was charged with multiple drug trafficking offences, trafficking a large commercial quantity of drugs, providing false details and hindering police.

Investigations remain ongoing.
