South Phoenix Shooting Leaves Teenager and Two Adults Seriously Injured After Fight Escalates

PHOENIX, Arizona — A late-night altercation in south Phoenix turned violent when gunfire erupted, leaving a teenager and two adults seriously injured, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

The shooting occurred around 11 p.m. Friday near the intersection of 35th Avenue and Baseline Road. Officers were initially dispatched to the area after receiving reports of a fight. While responding, police received updated information indicating that shots had been fired.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found an adult and a teenage juvenile suffering from gunshot wounds.
