Woman Alleges She Was Slapped by Accused Inside Bhopal Police Station, Claims Officer Told Her to ‘Go Complain in Kanpur’
Bhopal: A woman has alleged that she was slapped by the accused inside a police station in Bhopal while attempting to file a complaint, raising serious questions about security and the handling of complainants at the police station.
According to the woman’s allegations, the incident occurred at Gautam Nagar Police Station, where she had gone to seek legal action against a man. She claimed that instead of being protected inside the police station, the accused allegedly slapped her in full view of police personnel.
The woman further alleged that no immediate action was taken against the accused. Instead, she claimed that the station in-charge, Inspector Mohammed Gauri Khan, verbally abused her. She alleged that after learning she was originally from Kanpur, the officer told her, “Then go complain in Kanpur,” rather than registering her complaint or initiating legal proceedings.
