BUDERIM, QUEENSLAND: A 21-year-old mother has died after suffering critical burns in a devastating house fire on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, leaving behind a young son and a heartbroken family.
Isabella Nicholls succumbed to her injuries in hospital after managing to escape the burning unit, with loved ones remembering her as a “vibrant, kind and beautiful soul.”

The fatal fire broke out at a unit on King Street, Buderim, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
