TORONTO, Ontario — A 62-year-old man is facing multiple criminal charges after allegedly striking three pedestrians and fleeing the scene near Woodbine Casino in northwest Toronto late Friday night.
According to Toronto police, officers responded to reports of a fail-to-remain collision involving pedestrians at approximately 10:46 p.m. in the area surrounding the popular casino and entertainment complex.
Three Pedestrians Injured
Investigators allege that a vehicle struck three pedestrians before leaving the scene.
Among those injured was a 26-year-old woman who was transported to hospital with moderate injuries.
