The U.S. Marshals Service Eastern Arkansas Fugitive Task Force (EATF) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Johnny Wayne Peeks, 46, who is wanted in connection with alleged crimes involving a juvenile victim.
According to authorities, Peeks is wanted by the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Marshals Service on charges of:
- Rape
- First-degree sexual assault involving a juvenile
Law enforcement officials have described Peeks as dangerous and are urging anyone who sees him not to approach him.
Last Known Location
Investigators said Peeks was last seen on June 5 in Lonoke County, Arkansas. Authorities believe he may be traveling throughout the state and is known to frequent campgrounds.
Vehicle Information
Authorities say Peeks may be driving:
- A 2022 black Ford Maverick
- Arkansas license plate reported as AXV-082 (some reports listed the plate as AXV-08Z)
- He may also be towing a Montana fifth-wheel camper
