1 in Custody After Rockledge Convenience Store Shooting, Deputies Say

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. — A man is in custody after a shooting outside a convenience store in Rockledge on Saturday, according to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said the incident occurred outside a Cumberland Farms store on Viera Boulevard following an argument between two individuals inside the business.

Investigators said the dispute escalated after the individuals left the store. One of the men allegedly fired shots at a vehicle as it was leaving the parking lot.

The suspected shooter was later taken into custody by law enforcement officials.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation. Authorities have not released additional information regarding the identities of those involved or any charges that may be filed.
