OAMARU, New Zealand — Police have referred two youths to Youth Aid Services following a large hedge fire at a secondary school in Oamaru.
Emergency services responded to the blaze after a hedge caught fire on school grounds, prompting concerns about potential damage to nearby property.
Authorities said no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Police confirmed that two young people were identified in connection with the fire and have been referred to Youth Aid Services for further assessment and intervention.
