The teenager was initially reported missing from the Earl Bales Park area in North York on May 15, prompting an extensive search effort involving police officers, canine units, volunteers, and concerned community members.

After nearly two weeks of searching, police located the girl inside a Toronto home on May 28.
Authorities said she appeared to be in good physical health when she was found and was safely reunited with her family.
