1 Killed, 3 Injured in Lake County Wrong-Way Crash: FHP
LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — One person was killed and three others were injured in a wrong-way crash in Lake County early Sunday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the collision occurred when a vehicle traveling in the wrong direction crashed into another vehicle on a Lake County roadway.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other individuals suffered injuries and were transported to area hospitals for treatment.Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved pending notification of family members.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash, including why the driver was traveling the wrong way.
