Police in Calgary have released a composite sketch of a suspect believed to be connected to a series of sexual assaults reported in Fish Creek Park.
According to investigators, three women were assaulted between April 20 and May 23 near the Sue Higgins Bridge and Mallard Point area. The incidents involved a male suspect who allegedly targeted women while riding either an e-scooter or a black BMX bicycle.
Authorities describe the suspect as a light-skinned male, possibly ranging from his early teens to late 20s, standing about 183 cm (6 feet) tall with short, shaggy blond hair.
During one reported incident, he was seen wearing a black zip-up hoodie and blue jeans. In another case, he was dressed in black pants, a red hoodie with the hood pulled up, and carried a white backpack decorated with colorful spots.
The Calgary Police Service released the sketch on June 11 in hopes that members of the public can help identify the individual. Investigators are urging anyone with information about the suspect or the incidents to contact police.
Authorities continue to investigate the assaults and are asking park visitors to remain vigilant while the search for the suspect continues.
