A 23-year-old woman has been arrested following the death of a man in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs early Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called to Ranfurlie Court in Forest Hill at about 2am, where police located a 29-year-old man suffering from injuries.
Despite efforts by first responders, the man could not be revived and died at the scene.
A 23-year-old woman was subsequently arrested in connection with the incident. Police have indicated that the man and woman were known to each other.
Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the death, and further details are expected to be released as the investigation progresses.
Police have not yet disclosed the nature of the injuries or any potential charges.
