LINTON, DERBYSHIRE: A 52-year-old man has been charged with the murder of his elderly mother after a woman was found fatally stabbed at a home in the Derbyshire village of Linton.
The victim, Joan Hardy, 72, was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of emergency services. Police have charged her son, Adrian Hardy, who remains in custody.
