Teenager and Two Adults Seriously Injured in South Phoenix Shooting Near 35th Avenue and Baseline Road

Three people, including a teenager, were seriously injured in a shooting late Friday night in south Phoenix, according to the Phoenix Police Department.

Officers responded to reports of a fight near 35th Avenue and Baseline Road at approximately 11 p.m. on June 19. While en route, police received additional information indicating that gunfire had erupted in the area.

Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult and a teenage juvenile suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were treated at the scene before being transported by the Phoenix Fire Department to a nearby hospital. Authorities said their injuries were serious but not considered life-threatening.

Investigators later learned that a third adult male had also been injured in the shooting. He was taken to a hospital before officers arrived at the scene. Police confirmed that his injuries were also serious but not life-threatening.
